Power - Political Power
Power is having
control
and
influence over
other
people, or possessing the
authority to
exercise power and
influence over
other people. The ability to
influence or outright control the
behavior of
people. A
state or a
corporation powerful enough to
influence events
within its borders and sometimes throughout the
world. Power is also the
ability to
control oneself or the
mental qualities required to
do something or to
get something done and to
function. Power is also a
force or an
energy.
Force
is a
powerful effect or influence.
A group of people having the power of
effective action. To
cause
someone to do something through
pressure or
necessity, by
physical,
moral or
intellectual means. To urge or
force a person to an
action. To
constrain or motivate.
To
force into or from an action or state,
either physically or metaphorically. The practice of forcing another party
to act in an involuntary manner by use of
intimidation or
threats or some
other form of pressure or force.
"With
great power comes
great responsibility."
Influence is a
power to affect persons or events especially power
based on
prestige etc.. Causing something without any direct or apparent
effort. A cognitive factor that tends to have an effect on what you do.
The effect of one thing (or person) on another. One having power to
influence another. Have and exert influence or effect. Someone who
controls, who has
authority, who has knowledge. A person who can make people do
things without question. The power to do things, right or wrong
or bad.
Initiations
vs.
Training.
Abuse of Power
Abuse of Power is the commission of an
unlawful act or
misconduct, done in an
official capacity, which
affects the performance of official duties.
Malfeasance in office is often grounds for a for cause
removal of an
elected official by statute or recall election. Abuse of power can also
mean a person using the power they have for their own personal gain.
Abusive Power and Control is behavior used by an
abusive person to gain
and/or
maintain control over another
person. Abusers are commonly motivated by devaluation, personal gain,
personal gratification, psychological projection, or the enjoyment of
exercising power and control. The victims of this behavior are often
subject to psychological, physical, sexual, or financial abuse.
Manipulators and abusers may control their victims with a range of
tactics, including, but not limited to, positive reinforcement (such as
praise, superficial charm, flattery, ingratiation, love bombing), negative
reinforcement (taking away aversive tasks or items), intermittent or
partial reinforcement, psychological punishment (such as silent treatment,
threats, intimidation, emotional blackmail, guilt trips) and traumatic
tactics (such as verbal abuse or explosive anger).
Coercion is using
force of authority to cause
something to occur.
Coercion
involves compelling a party to act in an involuntary manner by the use of
threats, including
threats
to use force against that party.
Forcing is using pressure or necessity to
make someone do something
against their will, especially by
physical
threat of violence, or by moral or intellectual means.
Force
means unlawful
violence,
or lawful compulsion.

Malfeasance in Office is any unlawful conduct that is often grounds
for a just cause removal of an elected official by statute or recall
election, or even additionally a crime.
Abuse of Rights
is the exercise of a
legal right
only to cause annoyance, harm, or injury to another. The abuser is liable
for the harm caused by their actions. Some examples of this are abuse of
power, barratry, frivolous or vexatious litigation, a spite fence or
house, forum shopping, abuse of process, malicious prosecution, tax
avoidance (vs. anti-avoidance rules, step transaction doctrine, economic
substance), etc.
Forced Sterilization or coerced sterilization, refers to any
government-mandated program
to involuntarily sterilize a specific group of people. Sterilization
removes a person's capacity to reproduce, and is usually done by surgical
or chemical means.
Forced Abortion is a form of reproductive coercion that refers to the
act of compelling a woman to undergo termination of a pregnancy against
her will or without explicit consent.
One-Child Policy
was a population planning initiative in China implemented between 1979 and
2015 to curb the country's population growth by restricting many families
to a single child.
Forced Pregnancy
is the practice of forcing a woman or girl to become pregnant or remain
pregnant against her will. This act is often as part of a forced marriage,
as part of a programme of breeding slaves, or as part of a programme of
genocide. Forced pregnancy is a form of reproductive coercion.
Power tends
to
corrupt, and
absolute power
corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men, even when they
exercise influence and not authority, still more when you superadd the
tendency or the certainty of
corruption
by authority. There is no worse heresy than that the office sanctifies the

Power Harassment is a form of harassment and workplace bullying in
which someone in a position of greater power uses that power to harass or
bully a lower-ranking person.
Dominance when one person or group has
power over another.
Dominance in
ethology
is an individual's preferential access to resources over another. The
state of having high
social status relative to one or more other individuals, who react
submissively to dominant individuals.
This enables the dominant individual to obtain access to resources such as
food or potential mates at the expense of the submissive individual,
without active aggression. The absence or reduction of aggression means
unnecessary energy expenditure and the risk of injury are reduced for
both.
Domination is social control by
unwarranted power.
Dominance Hierarchy -
Colonialism.
Having
the Upper Hand is to have a position of

either over someone, or over something, or over some situation.
Control Freak
is a person who wants to control everything in someone else's life, or in
their own life. A person who likes to
dictate and
micro-manage how everything is done
around them. Someone with a
compulsive desire to
exert control over
situations and people. An individual who attempts to undermine other people based on
how one
dictates how everything is done around them.
Power Trip is when a person gets
pleasure from using their power to control other people or to abuse other
people because it makes them feel powerful and in control. A power trip is a self-aggrandizing action
undertaken simply for the pleasure of exercising control over other
people. Like when a drug addict gets pleasure from a drug without
considering the harm it does to themselves or to other people.

Drunk with Power is abnormal behavior
characterized by exaggerated feelings of self-importance, excessive need
for admiration, and a lack of empathy. Those affected often spend much
time thinking about achieving power or success, or on their appearance.
They often take advantage of the people around them. The behavior
typically begins by early adulthood, and occurs across a variety of social
situations. A psychopathological condition characterized by delusional
fantasies of wealth, power, or omnipotence. An obsession with grandiose or
extravagant things or actions. Drink or alcohol goes to people’s heads.
Power can go to people’s heads too and make them do obscenely cruel things
just because they have the power to do them. Also described as a
megalomania or narcissistic personality disorder.

Micromanagement is excessive control or excessive attention to minor
details. Rather than giving general instructions on smaller tasks and then
devoting time to supervising larger concerns, the micromanager monitors
and assesses every step of a business process and avoids delegation of
decisions. Micromanagers are usually irritated when a subordinate makes
decisions without consulting them, even if the decisions are within the
subordinate's level of authority. Micromanagement constitute a management
pathology closely related to workplace
bullying and
narcissistic behavior.
People are not drawn
to bad leaders, ignorant people are drawn to bad leaders and
bad leaders are drawn for
people. Wealthy and powerful people behind the scenes choose
a person who they can control,
someone who doesn't mind doing bad things.
Psychopaths are not power
hungry. Psychopaths are insecure people who hate themselves for who
they are. So they have to take out their anger and their insecurities on
other people. So in order to feel good about themselves, psychopaths lash
out at other people. They want to control people by
abusing them. And in doing
so,
this makes psychopaths
very attractive to other psychopaths with have wealth and power and
the ability to put thee psychopaths in positions of authority. So you have
ignorant scumbags choosing other ignorant scumbags to do their
dirty work, and ignorant voters are
too ignorant to change this system. Ignorant voters are given the
illusion of choice so as to give them an
illusion of control. So the reason why we have so many scumbag leaders is
because ignorant voters can't see that the system is rigged.
Lunatics have taken over the asylum.
If we don't improve education, we will never have enough
intelligent leaders in power.
People with no empathy get powerful jobs because most
compassionate people
can't handle the job. Good people are just too sensitive, too honest and
too kind. So we have to improve education that fosters intelligence in
good people, while at the same time, discourages bad children from growing
up to be bad adults. To be a
good
leader you need to have the ability to
make hard choices. Being a
good leader means not lying about the real reasons behind your decisions.
And being a good leader means you can't be a puppet for the wealthy and
powerful scumbags who are only looking out for themselves. Power doesn't
fuck you up, you were fucked up already, the power just exposed how fucked
up you really are.

Sexual Predator.
Neck Biting is an effective way for a
biting cat to express their dominance over another cat vying for the same
resource. This is common when cats are scrapping outside the home. But
also in multi-cat households, displays of dominance and neck biting can be
a way for your cats to determine and maintain their
hierarchy.
Alpha of social animals in
ethology, is the highest ranking individual and
sometimes designated as the alpha. Males, females, or both, can be alphas,
depending on the species. Where one male and one female fulfill this role
together, they are sometimes referred to as the alpha pair. Other animals
in the same social group may exhibit deference or other species-specific
subordinate behaviors towards the alpha or alphas. Alpha animals usually
gain preferential access to food and other desirable items or activities,
though the extent of this varies widely between species. Male or female
alphas may gain preferential access to sex or mates; in some species, only
alphas or an alpha pair reproduce. Alphas may achieve their status by
superior physical strength and aggression, or through social efforts and
building alliances within the group. The individual with alpha status
sometimes changes, often through a fight between the dominant and a
subordinate animal. These fights are often to the death, depending on the
animal.
Alpha (letter).
Alpha Male
is a man tending to assume a dominant or domineering role in social or
professional situations. Try's to be the dominant male animal in a
particular group. The need to
control is sometimes an
animal instinct, but this innate instinct is only expressed by a small
percentage of the human population and definitely not everyone. It's
definitely necessary that someone takes a
leadership role in a society.
But just having an instinct and a motive does not qualify a person to be
an effective leader. So society must
screen their potential leaders more effectively before they are
allowed to assume the
responsibility
of that important job.
Sigma Male is
a man who lives outside the hierarchy. He
does his own thing and dances
to his own beat. A Sigma Male is also very attractive to women, at the top
of the socio sexual hierarchy alongside the Alpha. Sigma male is an
introverted Alpha male who
lives his life his own way. He has numerous
characteristics of both types and has actually gotten the best traits of
an Alpha male and a Beta male.
Beta Males
live their
lives based on the values and vision of other people. They
seek validation at every

lack self-reliance and a strong sense of personal
identity, they fall into patterns of neediness and approval-seeking
behaviors.

Dominant Culture is a
cultural practice
that is dominant within a particular political, social or economic entity,
in which multiple cultures are present. It may refer to a language,
religion/ritual, social value and/or social custom. These features are
often a norm for an entire society. It achieves dominance by being
perceived as pertaining to a majority of the population and having a
significant presence in institutions relating to communication, education,
artistic expression, law, government and business. The culture that is
dominant within a particular geopolitical entity can change over time in
response to internal or external factors, but one is usually very
resilient and able to reproduce itself effectively from generation to
generation. In a multicultural society, various cultures are celebrated
and respected equally. A dominant culture can be promoted deliberately and
by the suppression of minority cultures or subcultures.
Separation of Church and State.
Hegemony is the political, economic, or
military predominance or control of
one state over others. In international relations theory, hegemony denotes
a situation of (i) great material asymmetry in favour of one state, who
has (ii) enough military power to systematically defeat any potential
contester in the system, (iii) controls the access to raw materials,
natural resources, capital and markets, (iv) has competitive advantages in
the production of value added goods, (v) generates an accepted ideology
reflecting this status quo; and (vi) is functionally differentiated from
other states in the system, being expected to provide certain public goods
such as security, or commercial and financial stability.
Control
is the power to direct or determine. The activity of managing or exerting
control over something. The state that exists when one person or group has
power over another. Exercise authoritative control or power over. Control

Power does not exist in reality. Power is only a
distortion of the mind
that people create when they have a higher level of authority over other
people without having the level of intelligence that's needed to control
the corrupt and destructive force that this illusion of power has on the
untrained mind. Power acts like a disease, and the vaccine for this type
of disease is knowledge.
We have to fully understand why power
corrupts people. And the best way to accomplish this is to
improve education.
We have to help people to stop using positions of authority as
weapons against other people, including themselves.
Stanford Prison Experiment was an attempt to investigate the
psychological effects of perceived power, focusing on the struggle between
prisoners and prison guards. Some participants developed their roles as
the guards enforced authoritarian measures and ultimately subjected some
prisoners to psychological torture. Many of the prisoners passively
accepted psychological abuse and, by the guards' request, actively
harassed other prisoners who tried to stop it.

Richest People -
Wealthiest People in
the World
Of course there
are many big players in the world beyond the mega rich. Every country has
people that have the authority and control to influence changes, with some
changes being bad that cause death and suffering. So everyone must learn
who these people are, and we must learn to communicate with people in
power. We must learn that if they are corrupted, they can be extremely
dangerous. That is why we need to end this mass control and mass wealth
because it does more harm then good. This was a crazy
social experiment
that went wrong. We need
a new
governing system in society. One that is open and one that people can
engage in, a system that people can control and understand. A system that
is self governed, a system that is dependable, reliable and robust.
Secret Rulers (secrecy)
Poor people far out number the rich, but if the poor can't
work together as one, then their numbers are
powerless.
There are some other
players too, and some are not interested in power or money, because those
two things are irrelevant when you are technologically advanced and
knowledgeable, but this is still not considered to be intelligent life.
Though there are a lot of different things involved, it really doesn't
take that much to have control and influence on most every human on planet
earth. Everyone lives in their own little world and is pretty much
ignorant to the world around them. So it's easy to be in power when
citizens are undereducated and also have very little knowledge about their
own state and government. And the followers are the source of the power by
consent and
accessory . But the followers don't
know that they are followers, or do they know exactly who they're
following, or why? When people finally wake up, this world will be
amazing. Alien life from other planets will come to earth to learn from
us, because humans will someday be some of the most intelligent life in
the universe.
People in power want to stop people from learning on
their own and educating themselves, which they do in several ways. First
they make people believe that they are learning and becoming more
knowledgeable, which gives people the
illusion that they are learning. And they do this by controlling the
information that people see. And that's how you control and influence
almost all humans on the entire planet. Not total control, just enough to
manipulate people and take what ever you want. There is probably no human
alive who could handle power, the power you only have by consent, which is
easy to do, especially when you control the information and knowledge that
people have.
Babies start being influence by power at an early age
when they learn the power to move through the environment, and learn the
power to talk and communicate. But children never learn where this power
comes from and how power actually works. Your thinking will always be
manipulated and influenced by irrelevant information that power can give
you, and if you don't understand why the information is irrelevant, then
having power is wasted. You will never see all the mistakes that you're
making, and the rewards that you receive, will only be lies that mostly
used to cover up other lies, the lies you don't even know exist, all
because you never learned about power.

Superpower is a word used to describe a state with a dominant position
in international relations and which is characterized by its unparalleled
ability to exert influence or project power on a global scale. This is
done through the combined-means of technological, cultural, military and
economic strength, as well as diplomatic and soft power influence.
Traditionally, superpowers are preeminent among the
Great
Powers, which is a sovereign state that is recognized as having the
ability and expertise to exert its influence on a global scale. Great
powers characteristically possess military and economic strength, as well
as diplomatic and soft power influence, which may cause middle or small
powers to consider the great powers' opinions before taking actions of
their own. International relations theorists have posited that great power
status can be characterized into power capabilities, spatial aspects, and
status dimensions.
Divide

breaking up
larger concentrations of power into pieces that individually have less
power than the one implementing the strategy. The concept refers to a
strategy that
breaks up existing power structures, and especially prevents
smaller power groups from linking up, causing rivalries and fomenting
discord among the people.

on the distribution of power and influence of states in a region or

Valid
Authority and Ability are 2 different things. You can have power
but not have the ability to use the power correctly or
effectively.
The fact that we can give people power
who don't have ability to
use it correctly, is one of the reasons why we have so many
problems with incompetence and corruption. So where do we get
people who have the ability to use power correctly, effectively
and efficiently. Of course, we can fully educate people, we
haven't tried that yet. We can already see that even people with
a small
amount of education can accomplish some amazing things, so just
imagine what we can do when millions are fully educated?
Knowledge is Power, but
you still have to have the right amount of knowledge in order to know how
to use power correctly, if not, then the power of knowledge can produce
negative effects instead of producing positive effects.

Power is a huge responsibility, but most people exploit the
position, mostly due to their ignorance and their inability to
avoid corruption and manipulation. This of course can be
corrected by educating people fully. This
behavior comes from ignorance, so if you educate people
more, you will change the behavior. Our behavior comes from our
perception of our personal experiences and our perceived
knowledge. If improve the perception, you improve the behavior.
We can create our own behaviors, or have others
create behaviors for us. If you learn early on about
behavior, you will learn that you can control and build your own
personal behaviors. You can choose to have it part of your
personality or just be something that benefits you and others.
Structures of Power - Levels of Authority
Power Structure is an overall
system of
influence and the
relationships between any individual and every other individual
within any selected group of people. A description of a power structure
would capture the way in which power or authority is distributed
between people within groups such as a
government, nation,
institution,
organization, or a
society. Such structures are of
interest to various fields, including sociology, government,
economics, and business. A power structure may be formal and
intentionally constructed to maximize values like
fairness or
efficiency, as in a hierarchical organization wherein every
entity, except one, is subordinate to a single other entity.
Conversely, a power structure may be an informal set of roles,
such as those found in a dominance hierarchy in which members of
a social group interact,
often aggressively, to create a
ranking
system. A culture that is organized in a dominance
hierarchy is
a dominator culture, the opposite of an egalitarian culture of
partnership. A visible, dominant group or elite that holds power
or authority within a power
structure is often referred to as
being the Establishment. Power structures are fluid, with
changes occurring constantly, either slowly or rapidly, evolving
or revolutionary,
peacefully or violently.

Corporate Structure consists of various
departments that contribute to the company's overall mission and
goals. Common departments include Marketing, Finance, Operations
management, Human Resource, and IT. These
five
divisions represent the major departments within a publicly traded
company, though there are often smaller departments within autonomous
firms. Many businesses have a
CEO and
a
Board of Directors, usually
composed of the directors of each department, potentially with the
addition of one or more non-executive directors. There are also company
presidents, vice presidents, and CFOs. However, there is a great diversity
in corporate forms, as enterprises range from single company to
multi-corporate conglomerate. The four main corporate structures are
Functional, Divisional, Geographic, and the Matrix. Many corporations have
a “hybrid” structure, which is a combination of different models with one
dominant strategy.
Team Structure refers to the
composition of an individual team or of a multi-team system. Team
structure is an integral part of the teamwork process. A properly
structured patient care team is an enabler for and the result of effective
communication, leadership, situation monitoring, and mutual support.
Compartmentalization.
Division of a business is one of the parts into which a business,
organization or company is divided. The divisions are distinct parts of
that business, it is sometimes called a
business
sector or business unit or segment. If these divisions are all part
of the same company, then that company is legally responsible for all of
the obligations and debts of the divisions. However, in a large
organization, various parts of the business may be run by different
subsidiaries, and a business division may include one or many
subsidiaries. Each subsidiary is a separate legal entity owned by the
primary business or by another subsidiary in the hierarchy. Often a
division operates under a separate name and is the equivalent of a
corporation or limited liability company obtaining a fictitious name or
"doing business as" certificate and operating a business under that
fictitious name. Companies often set up business units to operate in
divisions prior to the legal formation of subsidiaries. Generally, only an
"entity", e.g. a corporation, public limited company (plc) or limited
liability company, etc. would have a "division"; an individual operating
in this manner would simply be "operating under a fictitious name".
Stakeholders in a typical corporation are its investors,
employees, customers, and suppliers.
However, with the increasing attention on
corporate social responsibility,
the concept has been extended to include communities,
governments, and trade
associations. A
stakeholder is a party that has an interest in a
company and can either affect or
be affected by the business. Stakeholders has gained wide acceptance in
business practice and in
theorizing relating to strategic management, corporate governance,
business purpose and corporate social responsibility (CSR). The definition
of corporate responsibilities through a classification of stakeholders to
consider has been criticized as creating a false dichotomy between the
"shareholder model" and the "
stakeholders
model" or a false analogy of the obligations towards shareholders and
other interested parties. A stakeholder can be a member of groups without
whose support the organization would cease to exist.
Shared Coops.
Social Order refers to a particular set or system of linked social
structures,
institutions,
relations, customs, and
enforce certain
patterns of relating and behaving.
Civility.
Front
Office represents the customer-facing division of a firm. For example,
customer service, sales, and industry experts who provide advisory
services are considered part of a firm's front office operations. The
function of front office is to directly get in touch with customers, and
is usually the first place that customers get to when they arrive to the
company. The front office can discover more information about the customer
by asking them questions, also helping the customers out.
Power Structures can be
designed in a way that
keeps people in
the dark. Sometimes workers have no idea what the
true
intentions of the
leaders are that they
work for, so they can never understand the
whole picture and have any
freedom of thought or
freedom to speak or
automony. Sometimes employees don't know the people in other departments
or what they actually do. Sometimes workers have no idea about the people who
are doing work
for them, or people who work right next to them. And sometimes workers
have very little idea about who is below in rank or above in rank, and
what exactly that means. This is not about
questioning authority,
this is about
understanding the
true goals of an organization and having informed
consent
from every person involved.
When people don't know who's really making the decisions and why they
are making them, they become just blind followers. And when
people believe that they're
above the law, then they commit crimes
and there's
no accountability.

Just Following OrdersThough some decisions
at the highest level of government can be focused around national
security, people below the chain of command are usually just following
orders, and employees are not on a need to know basis. This is because the
higher ups want the employees to be more focused on their job, such as
science and engineering. The higher ups also want soldiers to focus
fighting on a battle field, and not be distracted by higher objectives,
especially if the objectives are irrational. So spending money on national
defense be beneficial when it causes advances in technologies. But the
downside is that there are war profiteers and big corporations doing
corrupt things that are extremely damaging. When you're not part of the
decision process, or part of a privilege circle of elites, you will never
know the real reasons why things happen, you will never know. Like with
supreme court justices. Judges can't logically explain their decisions
because they are lying about the truth. The higher ups control them too.
Ignorance persists when
followers are too ignorant to
question what they are doing. This is why
corruption is hard to stop. Ignorant people are unable to understand
how corrupt and bad they are, thus
evil behavior persists.
There are Levels
of Command,
levels of thinking,
levels of secrecy
and
levels of knowledge. The lower you are on the totem pole,
or the less
education you have, or the less knowledge you have, or the less awareness
you have, will definitely effect what you will know, and what's happening in the other levels of command. Even
people at the top can be in the dark about certain things. Though people
at the top may have a higher level of education and knowledge, this does
not mean that they are
intelligent
enough, or does it mean that they are not
vulnerable to corruption or criminal activity, or vulnerable to making mistakes.
Chain of Command refers to a
company's
hierarchy of reporting relationships – from the bottom to the
top of an organization, who must answer to whom. The chain of command not
only establishes accountability, it lays out a company's lines of
authority and decision-making power. The chain of command refers to the
vertical lines of authority within an organization enabling orders to be
passed down through the
layers of hierarchy. If the organization has a
flat structure then there will be short chain of command. A long chain of
command is one that has several levels of management between the top and
bottom of the chain. The multiple layers of a long chain of command can
create problems for a small business. A command hierarchy is a group of
people who carry out orders based on others' authority within the group.
It can be viewed as part of a power structure, in which it is usually seen
as the most vulnerable and also the most powerful part. Here are four
types of organizational charts: Functional Top-Down. Divisional Structure.
Matrix Organizational Chart. Flat Organizational Chart.
Rank and File are the
ordinary members of an organization as opposed to its
leaders. The
non-executive and non-managerial employees of a company. The term
originates from the formations of
military personnel, since troops would stand next to each other (rank)
and in a line (file) when marching, while officers would march on the
outside of the formation. A military term relating to the horizontal
"ranks" (rows) and vertical "files" (columns) of individual foot-soldiers,
exclusive of the officers.
Pecking Order is a term for the hierarchical system of social
organization. The original use of pecking order referred to the expression
of dominance in chickens.
Dominance in chickens
is asserted by various behaviors, including pecking. The term dominance
hierarchy is often used for this type of social organization in other
animals. Pecking order is a basic concept in
social stratification
and social hierarchy that has its counterparts in other animal species,
including humans, although the term "pecking order" is often used
synonymously.

Next in Line is someone immediately below

Predecessor is one who precedes you in time
as in holding a position or office. Something that precedes and indicates
the approach of something or someone.

layers one atop
another. A relative position or degree of value in a graded group.
Hierarchy.

Levels
Hierarchical Organization is an organizational structure
where every entity in the organization, except one, is
subordinate to a single other entity. This arrangement is a form
of a hierarchy. In an organization, the hierarchy usually
consists of a singular/group of power at the top with subsequent
levels of power beneath them. This is the dominant mode of
organization among large organizations; most corporations,
governments, and organized religions are hierarchical
organizations with different levels of management, power or
authority. For example, the broad, top-level overview of the
general organization of the Catholic Church consists of the
Pope, then the Cardinals, then the Archbishops, and so on.
Dominance Hierarchy arises when members of a social group
interact, often aggressively, to create a
ranking system. In
social living groups, members are likely to compete for access
to limited resources and mating opportunities. Rather than fight
each time they meet, relative relationships are formed between
members of the same sex. These repetitive interactions lead to
the creation of a social order that is subject to change each
time a dominant animal is challenged by a
subordinate one.
Perversion.
Corporate Structure as a Factor in Poor
Communication.
Top-down and bottom-up communications face breakdown because
line employees usually don’t think the same way as managers do.
Corporate Titles (chiefs).
Authoritarianism is a form of government characterized by
strong
central power and limited political freedoms.
Hierarchy is an arrangement of items (objects, names,
values, categories, etc.) in which the items are represented as
being "above," "below," or "at the same level as" one another. A
hierarchy can link entities either directly or indirectly, and
either vertically or diagonally. The only direct links in a
hierarchy, insofar as they are hierarchical, are to one's
immediate superior or to one of one's subordinates, although a
system that is largely hierarchical can also incorporate
alternative hierarchies. Indirect hierarchical links can extend
"vertically" upwards or downwards via multiple
links in the same
direction, following a path. All parts of the
hierarchy which
are not linked vertically to one another nevertheless can be
"horizontally" linked through a path by traveling up the
hierarchy to find a common direct or indirect superior, and then
down again. This is akin to two co-workers or colleagues; each
reports to a common superior, but they have the same relative
amount of authority. Organizational forms exist that are both
alternative and complementary to hierarchy. Heterarchy is one
such form.
Incident Command System
is a standardized approach to the command, control, and coordination of
emergency response providing a common hierarchy within which
responders from multiple agencies can be effective.
Organizational Structure defines how activities such as task
allocation, coordination and supervision are directed toward the
achievement of organizational aims. It can also be considered as
the viewing glass or perspective through which individuals see
their organization and its environment.
Organizations need to be
efficient, flexible, innovative and caring in order to achieve a
sustainable competitive advantage. An organization can be
structured in
many different ways, depending on its objectives. The structure of an
organization will determine the modes in which it operates and performs.
Organizational structure allows the expressed allocation of
responsibilities for different functions and processes to different
entities such as the branch, department, workgroup, and individual.
Organizational structure affects organizational action in two ways: It
provides the foundation on which
standard operating procedures and
routines rest. It determines which individuals get to participate in which
decision-making processes, and thus to what extent their views shape the
organization’s actions.
Functional Organization is a type of organizational structure that
uses the principle of specialization based on
function or role. It allows decisions to be
decentralized since issues are delegated
to specialized persons or units, leaving them the
responsibility of implementing,
evaluating, or controlling the given
procedures or
goals.
Compartmentalization is the art of
dividing your work into
distinct segments, each dedicated to a specific task or project. It's
about creating
mental
boundaries that allow you to
focus
more effectively, avoid
distractions, and ultimately boost your overall
productivity.
Compartmentalization can lead to an implicit or fake sense of hierarchy.
If things are designed in arrows and boxes, those at the start of the
process will feel like their input decides the next teams' starting point.
Compartmentalization can leads to conflicting goals.
Compartmentalization is psychology is a form of psychological
defense mechanism
in which thoughts and feelings that seem to
conflict are kept separated or
isolated from each other in the mind.
Organizational Architecture has two very different meanings. In one
sense it literally refers to the organization's built environment and in
another sense it refers to architecture metaphorically, as a structure
which fleshes out the organizations. The various features of a business's
organizational architecture has to be internally consistent in strategy,
architecture and
competitive environment. Organizational architecture or
organizational space: the influence of the spatial environment on humans
in and around organizations. Organizational architecture or organization
design: the creation of roles, processes, and formal reporting
relationships in an organization.
Matrix Management (management styles)
Organizational Culture represents the collective values,
beliefs and principles of organizational members and is a
product of such
factors as history, product, market, technology,
strategy, type
of
employees, management style, and national culture; culture
includes the organization's vision, values, norms, systems,
symbols, language, assumptions, beliefs, and habits. Encompasses
values and behaviors that "contribute to the unique social and
psychological environment of an organization.
Industrial and Organizational Psychology is the scientific

psychological theories and principles to organizations and
individuals in their workplace.
Structure follows Strategy means that a corporate structure is created

Confederate Army soldiers were organized by military specialty. The
combat arms included
infantry,
cavalry, and
artillery. Although fewer soldiers might comprise a squad or
platoon, the smallest infantry maneuver unit in the Army was a company of
100 soldiers. Ten companies were organized into an infantry regiment,
which theoretically had 1,000 men. In reality, as disease, desertions and
casualties took their toll, and the common practice of sending
replacements to form new regiments took hold, most regiments were greatly
reduced in strength. By the mid-war, most regiments averaged 300–400 men,
with Confederate units slightly smaller on average than their U.S.
counterparts. For example, at the pivotal Battle of Chancellorsville, the
average U.S. Army infantry regiment's strength was 433 men, versus 409 for
Confederate infantry regiments. Rough unit sizes for CSA combat units
during the war:
Corps - 24,000 to 28,000 /
Division - 6,000 to 14,000 /
Brigade - 800 to 1,700 /
Regiment - 350 to 400 /
Company – 35 to 40. Regiments, which were
the basic units of army organization through which soldiers were supplied
and deployed, were raised by individual states. They were generally
referred by number and state, for example 1st Texas, 12th Virginia. To the
extent the word "battalion" was used to describe a military unit, it
referred to a multi-company task force of a regiment or a near-regimental
size unit. Throughout the war, the Confederacy raised the equivalent of
1,010 regiments in all branches, including militias, versus 2,050
regiments for the U.S. Army. Four regiments usually formed a brigade,
although as the number of men in many regiments became greatly reduced,
especially later in the war, more than four were often assigned to a
brigade. Occasionally, regiments would be transferred between brigades.
Two to four brigades usually formed a division. Two to four divisions
usually formed a corps. Two to four corps usually formed an army.
Occasionally, a single corps might operate independently as if it were a
small army. The Confederate States Army consisted of several field armies,
named after their primary area of operation. The largest Confederate field
army was the Army of Northern Virginia, whose surrender at Appomattox
Courthouse in 1865 marked the end of major combat operations in the US
Civil War. Companies were commanded by captains and had two or more
lieutenants. Regiments were commanded by colonels. Lieutenant colonels
were second in command. At least one major was next in command. Brigades
were commanded by brigadier generals although casualties or other
attrition sometimes meant that brigades would be commanded by senior
colonels or even a lower grade officer. Barring the same type of
circumstances which might leave a lower grade officer in temporary
command, divisions were commanded by major generals and corps were
commanded by lieutenant generals. A few corps commanders were never
confirmed as lieutenant generals and exercised corps command for varying
periods as major generals. Armies of more than one corps were commanded by
(full) generals.
Tank is an armored fighting vehicle designed for front-line combat.
Non-Commissioned Officer is a military officer who does not hold a
commission. Non-commissioned officers usually earn their position of
authority by promotion through the enlisted ranks.
Commission is the act of granting authority to undertake certain
functions. A formal document issued to appoint a named person to high
office or as a
commissioned officer in a
territory's armed forces. A commission constitutes documentary authority
that the person named is vested with the powers of that office and is
empowered to execute official acts. A commission often takes the form of
letters patent. officer is a person who holds a position of authority as a
member of an armed force or uniformed service.
Types of Power
Superpower is a
word used to describe a state with a
dominant position in international
relations and which is characterized by its unparalleled ability to exert
influence or project
power on a global scale. This is
done through the combined-means of technological, cultural, military and
economic strength, as well as diplomatic and soft power influence.
One World Order.
Sharp Power is
the use of
manipulative diplomatic
policies by one country to influence and undermine the political
system of a
target country.
Abusive Power and Control is commonly used by an
abusive person to gain and
maintain power and control over another person in order to subject that
victim to
psychological abuse,
physical abuse, mental abuse, sexual abuse, or
financial abuse. The abuser may have a
variety of motivations which can include devaluation, envy, personal gain,
personal gratification,
psychological projection, or simply the enjoyment of exercising power and
control.

Great Power is
a sovereign state that is recognized as having the ability and expertise
to exert its influence on a global scale. Great powers characteristically
possess military and economic strength, as well as
diplomatic and soft
power influence, which may cause middle or small powers to consider the
great powers' opinions before taking actions of their own. International
relations theorists have posited that great power status can be
characterized into power capabilities, spatial aspects, and status
dimensions.
Small Power in the
international system may never equal or surpass the effect of larger
powers, they can nevertheless influence the workings of the international
system together with others.
Middle Power is a
sovereign state that is not a superpower nor a great power, but still has
large or moderate influence and international recognition.
World Power
Index is defined as the numeric expression that expresses the
accumulation of national capabilities that a State has to exercise its
power in the international system.

Separation of Powers
Second Superpower is a term used to conceptualize a global civil
society as a world force comparable to or counterbalancing the United
States of America.
Smart Power is
investing heavily in alliances, partnerships, and institutions of all
levels to expand one's influence and establish legitimacy of one's action,
without using the influence of a strong military. It is sometimes the
combination of hard power and soft power strategies.
Soft Power is the ability to attract and co-opt rather than
by
coercion, hard power
or using
force or giving
money as a means of persuasion. Soft power is the ability
to shape the preferences of others through knowledge and inspiration. A
defining feature of soft power is that it is
non-coercive; the currency of
soft power is culture, political values, and foreign policies. Recently,
the term has also been used in changing and influencing social and public
opinion through relatively
less transparent channels and lobbying through
powerful political and non-political organizations. Soft-Power should be about educating people about
the facts, and also about the choices and options that are available. "Educate instead of Intimidate,
Manipulate or Dominate."
Emerging Power is a term used as recognition of the rising, primarily
economic, influence of a nation—or union of nations—which has steadily
increased their presence in global affairs. Such a power aspires to have a
more powerful position or role in international relations, either
regionally or globally, and possess sufficient resources and levels of
development that such goals are potentially achievable. A term also used
to describe such a state is "
Rising Power".
People Power - Power to the People
People have the Power, but most people
don't know how to
utilize their
power, this is why so
many people feel
powerless
or suffer from the
illusion of control.
Knowledge is
Power, but only if the
knowledge you receive has power. It's not just any knowledge that
gives you power, it's the knowledge that makes you
realize the power you
have, and also it's the knowledge that explains to you how to effectively,
efficiently and
collectively use
power, a power that everyone should have. But power is a
learned ability,
and
not everyone has access to this power, so this needs to change. We
have the ability to
solve every problem on earth, so it makes
perfect sense to provide everyone with the
highest quality education that
the world has to offer, it's time. - BK101 (August 6, 2016).

You need to put yourself under
arrest and stop what you're doing. It is the individuals who must
stop
the abuse and
stop contributing to crimes against humanity. P
eople must solve the problems themselves.
People can't wait for other people to solve our problems. People need to
be part of the solution and stop being part of the problem.
People are the shareholders of America. And
every shareholder has the
right to vote on changes and be heard. People
should be paid to vote. And voting should be easy with several options
available to everyone. But people will need to read the fine print and
fully understand what they're voting for.
People
need to stop blindly signing bad contracts. People need to
understand what they are signing because people are signing their lives
away in all kinds ways.
Educating people will be
the key. If people are more knowledgeable about what they are
voting for, the more accurate the vote will be.
People are the immune system of the world. And in order to fight
infections and disease, people must know how to recognize these viruses of
society that are threatening human existence and threatening our ability
to survive.
People are the brain and the body of
this reality that we all live in. And everyone has potential. So we
must foster the potential of every person on the planet, and in doing so,
we will have a much more stable system, and a much more stronger system,
and a much more human system.
We all want the easy
way out, and this is the easiest way out.
Knowledge can give you power, but first you must
acquire the knowledge
that would help you avoid
the trappings of power.
Knowledge is a huge
responsibility,
power is a huge responsibility. Together they wield a force that only
knowledge can tame. So learning the right things at the right time is
extremely important. Only the most skilled and knowledgeable can be at the
controls of such a superpower.
Weak and
ignorant minds are easily corrupted, which we can clearly see all over
the world.
Overconfidence can also be a trap.
Language

knowledge
is like having a
secret power,
but you have to learn how to use the power
effectively and efficiently.
You don't need to be a

Public Trust is the idea that within the public lies the true power
and future of a society; therefore, whatever trust the public places in
its officials must be respected. One of the reasons that
bribery is regarded as a notorious
evil is that it contributes to a culture of
political corruption in which the
public trust is eroded. Other issues related to political corruption or
betrayal of public trust are lobbying, special interest groups and the
public cartel.
General Will is the will of
the people as a whole. All citizens have the right to contribute
personally, or through their representatives, to its formation. It must be
the same for all, whether it protects or punishes. All citizens, being
equal in its eyes, are equally admissible to all public dignities,
positions, and employments, according to their capacities, and without any
other distinction than that of their virtues and their talents.
Political
Freedom is freedom from oppression or coercion, the absence of
disabling conditions for an individual and the fulfillment of enabling
conditions, or the absence of life conditions of compulsion, e.g. economic
compulsion, in a society.

"Our strategy should not be only to confront
empire, but
to lay siege to it. To deprive it of oxygen. To mock it. To shame it. With
our art, our literature, our music, our brilliance, our joy, our sheer
relentlessness -- and our ability to tell our own stories. Not the stories
that we're being brainwashed to believe. The corporate revolution will
collapse if we refuse to buy what they're selling -- their ideas, their
version of history, their wars, their weapons, their sense of
inevitability. Because know this: They be few and we be many. They need us
more than we need them. Another world is not only possible, she's on her
way. And on a quiet day, I can hear her breathing."

New World Man -
Rush (youtube) - He's a rebel and a runner, He's a signal turning
green, He's a restless young romantic, Wants to run the big machine.
He's got a problem with his poisons, But you know he'll find a cure,
He's cleaning up the systems, To keep his nature pure. Learning to
match the beat of the old-world man, Learning to catch the heat of the
third-world man. He's got to make his own mistakes, And learn to mend
the mess he makes. He's old enough to know what's right, And young
enough not to choose it. He's noble enough to win the world, But weak
enough to lose it. He's a new-world man. He's a radio receiver,
Tuned to factories and farms, He's a writer and ranger and a young boy
bearing arms. He's got a problem with his powers, His weapons on
patrol, He's got to walk a fine line, And keep his self-control.
Trying to save the day for the old-world man, Trying to pave the way for
the third-world man. He's not concerned with yesterday, He knows
constant change is here today. He's noble enough to know what's right,
But weak enough not to choose it. He's wise enough to win the world.
But fool enough to lose it. He's a new-world man. Learning to match
the beat of the old-world man, He's learning to catch the heat of the
third-world man. He's a new world man, He's a new world man.

I am so high, I can hear heaven, I am so high,
I can hear heaven. Whoa, but heaven no,
heaven don't hear me. And they
say, That a hero could save us, I'm not gonna stand here and wait.
I'll hold onto the wings of the eagles, Watch as we all fly away.
Someone told me, Love would all save us. But, how can that be, Look
what love gave us. A world full of killing, And blood spilling, That
world never came, And they say, That a hero could save us, I'm not
gonna stand here and wait. I'll hold onto the wings of the eagles,
Watch as we all fly away. Now that the world isn't ending, It's love
that I'm sending to you. It isn't the love of a hero, And that's why I
fear it won't do. And they say, That a hero could save us, I'm not
gonna stand here and wait. I'll hold onto the wings of the eagles,
Watch as we all fly away. And they're watching us, They're watching us,
As we all fly away. And they're watching us, They're watching us, As
we all fly away. And they're watching us, They're watching us, As we
all fly away.
